Ekaterina Bobrova and Dmitri Soloviev absent from Worldwide for doping suspicions

Ekaterina Bobrova and Dmitri Soloviev, Olympic champions in the team event in Sochi in 2014, decided not to participate in the World Championships in Boston (March 28-April 3) because of doping suspicions. The Russian said that traces of Meldonium had been found in his blood. The drug, used to treat pain poitrone, is part of the prohibited list of WADA. “Unfortunately we will not participate in World Championships , said Bobrova. The Russian Federation recently received a letter from the International Federation which says that a test carried out after the European Championships showed traces of Meldonium. ” they will be replaced by Alexandra Stepanova and Ivan Bukin.
